...Is it possible to play both sides using Arena/Stockfish?

Hi

I am working my way through Yasser Seirman's Play Winning Chess.

I find it much easier to follow along if I have an actual chessboard to work with.

I have Arena/Stockfish and was able to set up the examples - but once I make a move, the computer makes the counter move.

Is there a way to shut off this feature so that I can follow both W/B moves as described in the book.

Or - is there another program that will permit me to play both sides?

Thank you

You can even highlight squares with right click

Quick question - is there a way to automatically remove all pieces?
