Is it possible to search for players by rating?

I was looking to see if there was an easy way to find people at my level. I couldn't see how. Thanks

Where did you look? A couple of good places would be the open seeks, or join some groups. hope that helps.

Hi,

Go to your online home page. At right within a box titled  Play Chess, there are: open seeks, start a new game, VIEW PLAYERS, top rated players, etc. Click on View Players. In about the middle of the window you'll see a search box where you can search on name,  minimum and maximum ratings and country to narrow your search.  You will have to experiment a little until you find the players within the range you are looking for.  Happy hunting.

Don't be afraid to play people with higher ratings. You tend to learn more from losses than wins.

it's from 2008...
I think it got replaced by "players" -> "all players" but I can't find a way to search by rating there
