Hey guys I volunteered for a fun little festival by giving a simul of 30-50 players with the ratings being anywhere from 200-1000 and my rating is 1555 but I was wondering even though non of the players aren't really close to my rating at all will doing this simul be to much on me ?

Sound like fun to me regardless of how your results turn out.

i'm a 1500 USCF player and i did an 8 or 10 man simul against 300-1200s and it was pretty cool.  i think i lost 1 or 2.  mostly i got wins.  i can't really imagine doing 30+.  it is very tiring.

thanks guys I just thought I'd ask I have givn simlus before but never above 11 players.

I rember playing the top 3 players of a U1000 section at a tournament I was suppose to enter but showed up to late to register and got (+2,=1,-0) was wondering does this what other little preparations can I do to get ready for the event.

easier said than done one thing I like to do before giving a simul is exercise the whole day before and go over a few tactics other than that I dont really study the day before a simul.

How bad would somebody have to be to be rated USCF 200?

You just have to not notice that your pieces are hanging.

It will be okay, just be calm and take your time..

Think of it as online turn-based chess, where you have like 10+ games going on. Shouldn't be difficult, especially the 200 rated mate in 2 players.
