Not if you're 2600.
Is it unpolite to make three queens?
And if youy are 1921? What then? I guess it isnt easy, but doable now and then. I guess you guys quite often manage to come one pawn up, but more seldom 2 if a 1740 avoids dumb mistakes.
Queens Queens Queens! Everyone talks about Queens. There was a game I played on this site about a year ago where I had 3 Knights, the game ended with me (Finally!) delivering mate with the King, 2 Knights and a Bishop after 109 moves.
But before playing all that out, my opponent already agreed to allow me to try it. I did accidently, of course, leave one of my Knights hanging..but still did it! And for a patzer like me, it wasn't easy.
Ten queens would definitely be cheating.
10 or any more than 9 queens is impossible.
Wait a minute? What if...you could have...OVER 9,000 Queens!!!!!!

Well there is almost never a reason to get three Queens except to show off and rub it in...at least no reason I can think of off the top of my head. One could probably fabricate a scenario... It would almost always be faster to mate without getting three Queens. Of course, there is a flip side to that coin. Isn't it impolite for the losing player to not resign once you are up a Queen or two?
Stalemates do exist and they are very real with some elo levels
The goal is to checkmate your gaming partner within time by playing the best moves you could. However, three queens are not necessary, but it does not really matter.
Or maybe it just shows that you don't have the skill to checkmate with something other than three queens :)))
if you have the skills to get three queens against a 1700+ rated, you probably have the skills to mate with only bishop, king and knight.
Once you get a queen and you're up material, you can pretty much get another few easily if you have a few pawns to spare...
It is very difficult to become material up playing against wellplaying 1700+ players.
