Maybe because she doesn’t play that much?
Is Judit Polgar the best chess player ever?
A good Women chessplayer, but the best a wouldnt say this for anyone in chess, even for Magnus, which is not that bad, Best chess player is like best foottbal player- you never know, God bless
Judit Polgar is one of my absolute favorites. Her games are a delight to play over and her books are full of great instructional material as well as charming personal details. Mainly, they are full of her love for chess. But Judit Polgar doesn't think that Judit Polgar is the greatest player ever! She knows that she earned her place among the world's elite, but her admiration for Kasparov and Karpov and Anand is very clear
The real question is: is she the hottest chess player ever?
if you ignore all the other hotter chess players, then yes she is hot.
Without question it is Magnus. He is the greatest the world has ever produced. What makes a player so great is NOT their moves.
See, what we often forget to include in chess consideration is :
1) the clock. The clock is the most brutal aspect of the game. It changes everything as well as injecting a tremendous amount of pressure. The stress levels of chess players have been measured and documented to be the highest in any sport. It is incredible. To play at the grand master level in a world championship match like Magnus, Anand, Caruana is almost god-like capacity to endure that level of stress.
2) stamina: who can sit there and stay focused on that little 64 square board for that length of time day after day? It’s inhuman. I don’t know how they can survive it. Why would someone sit there like that for days on end?
No Judit is not the greatest. She’s very good. But in a real world OTB 24 game showdown where all the marbles are at steak, she’ll whither on the vine like an old man’s balls. Nuff said. Did you hear it when I dropped the microphone?
the greatest of all time is kasparov, magnus isn't even close.
Magnus is SLIGHTY BETTER, they are actually EXTREMELY close.
"THE GUY WON 100 STRAIGHT GAMES!"
That is simply not true. I think you meant to say that he went undefeated for 100 games! I'm not sure that's 100% accurate, but he did go a long, long time between losses
She beat Kasparov Karpov, and Carlsen,
is there any arguments to be made against her that she is not the best?
i am by no means a Judit Polgár fan, however I am confused of her not being crowned the worlds best player.
