Seemingly a sound line of reasoning, until you consider the entire discussion of DPI ranges also adjusts for how much physical distance the mouse needs to move to register cursor input, although that could be something to consider if perhaps your peripheral vision is not the best. I always like my gameboard to be as large as possible, but that's just my personal preference.
Ok, but some people say to keep the board as small as possible, to reduce the cursor movement, what do you think of this idea @opterayon?
I use 200-800 DPI, I don't think it matters

Yes, altho I am really new to chess and don't play on a high level. I haven't played that many games either...
I don't think mouse sens is a major factor tho.
