1540 blitz is a good rating, people start improving slower at around that rating, that's normal
That is chess, progress is not steady, it goes by leaps forward but sometimes backwards
Not only chess but everything in life, you may wake up one day and reach sudenly a master level because you understood the spirit of chess during your dream the previuos night.
Do you know that humans progressed from crossbow to atomic bomb in a blink of eye compared to the millions of year of human history. How do you explain that ?
