Racist thread #2736 of the week
is resigning bannable
I don't think this specific country has "many" races, but thankyou
I want to resign everytime I meet players from this specific country. it's for a very specific reason, and obviously it was not for hygiene reason. since chess.com don't have the capability to add a highly needed feature: blocking a certain country, I just think to give them a win on move 2 so I can move on and match someone from another country.
If you resign too often, as a percentage of recently completed games, you'll lose the ability to resign and any game that starts as rated, will be rated, regardless of the game termination.
The site has the capability of adding such a filter but never will.

so can I just give the win to a player from specific country by running out the clock?
I guess. Then proceed to still get your account most likely banned depending on how many players from that account you play. Its like me saying that I don't wanna play ppl like you that don't want to play against certain countries but I don't really care because I'm able to put my beliefs aside and enjoy the game.

If you do that too often, you’ll start getting restricted.

should I do it moderately then? not too often is fine, yea?
Yeah i think it is if you are doing it everytime
not everytime, I don't do that when I'm asleep
you can't get banned for resigning. You can get restricted for deliberately stalling, so if you dont want to verse that countries players, just play a move, then click resign, instead of aborting or stalling.
By the way, this is such a stupid question because the flag system is completely arbitrary. You can be from japan and manually put on a flag of China for example, so the flag icon is literally useless, and basing your prejudice on it is even more stupid
Im gonna guess the country you dont wanna face is turkey considering your armenian flag.
If you dislike them then shouldn't that motivate you to verse them and win? Its such a weird take to just give up when u face them.
Grow some balls
I’m with OP. Some players from certain countries you can just tell are working at a call center and playing chess while waiting for the phone to ring. They take tons of time between moves, and you know they’re not thinking because when they finally move, they make the worst possible move and blunder a piece. CC should definitely implement the block-by-flag feature. If your countrymen give your land a bad rep, pick another flag to fly.
