Lets just accept the fact that people have opinions, and not everyone agrees with them.

What about 1. Say something stupid about a heated subject on purpose to gain attention 2. call everyone who doesn't agree "not intelligent enough", "not artsy enough" etc. etc.

The problem is not with stating the opinion.
The problem is with writing abuse, or thinly veiled abuse, at people who think/act/behave/talk otherwise.
This is the true mark of a harmful troll (who should be ignored) - as opposed to a funny troll (who may be fun)

If something someone posts "offends" you then follow your own advice and ignore them.
