Is Smurfing Allowed

Who knew?
In gaming culture, smurfing is defined as logging into a secret account seperate from a main account as to allow the user to play a game without being detected by his or her peers. Generally the purpose of smurfing is to improve oneself without compromising the statistics of a main account.

Only titled players are allowed to have more than one account.
This.
I don't see how that would be fair to everybody. But I don't think anybody cares. It's not like Chess.com has the permissions or the technology to determine if somebody has more than one account.
And I'm saying this as a titled player.

That's a really poor definition. Maybe it's outdated.
A smurf account is when a highly skilled player makes a new account and pretends to be less skilled... sometimes significantly less skilled, to beat up on weaker players.
When people like Hikaru or Eric Hansen make an anonymous account and try to get to a 3000 rating quickly, that would be an example of smurfing (but chess.com refunds points when Hikaru et al do that, so it's ok in those cases).

It isn't intended to be "fair to everybody". What's the point of spending years working your rear end off to become a titled player, if every 800-rated goombah gets all the same perks?

Why Vega?
You are Spanish, and he is a cool character.
But he jumps off the walls and does all sorts of crazy unique stuff.
He's a lab character and very rare. Perfect for a degenerate smurf.
Ah, I see. I remember SF2 was huge in arcade machines when I was young, but never learned very much about it. I was told he was wearing a mask because he didn't want his nice face to be disfigured, that's not serious. I think I'll stick to Íñigo Montoya.
Is smurfing allowed on Chess.com? Do chess players consider smurfing to be bad?
Just wondering, because I'm a smurf.
