Is the criticism valid

I played a 3 minute game in which I opened King's pawn, and the opponent met with Sicilian. I replied w/ standard Kf3. He moves a5, which I find odd, but nonetheless, I decide to pursue an open Sicilian (it being only a 3 minute game and all). Next couple of moves  I decide to trade knights and center pawns, which leaves me vulnerable in the center, but also opens up his queen side to attack. He then messages me with "Dude. Stop trading pieces." Again, it's a 3 minute game. I may be a buffoon, but I'm reasonably fair in the endgame, so I don't mind trading in a lot of cases. Anyway, in the next couple of moves I make an approach that most people would see coming a mile away, but he allows me to pin his queen, trade queens, then fork his king and rook. He resigned. Again, I'm sure most people on here would've skewered me on that approach, but he messages me again with, "No one cares about b******t tactics."

What? I don't want to dismiss a player as a poor sport, so I'm open to the notion that something I did might be BS. I just don't know what that was. Is trading not an acceptable strategy for a short 3 minute game? Any constructive feedback would be appreciated.

You shouldnt take the knight on c6 sometimes you have to know when to let your opponent live with is mistakes if you just centralize your pieces get castled and connect your rooks youll do better. If he takes your knight you can retake with the queen and hell have used his knight that couldve won a tempo on your queen, so just let him take in the Sicilian

Also by taking the knight youre connecting his pawns which is otherwise one of the possible weakness in the Sicilian so youre doing multiple favors for him. Also the queen trade is actually a blunder for you because he can take the knight and then you lose a tempo having to take the bishop back and you double your a and b pawns
