Yes, Latvian gambit is definitely better. After 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 f6 white plays 3. Nxe5 and it's really bad for black

poker chess- if white knows his stuff you can resign
Since they both probably lose--it is hard to say one is better than the other.
Latvian Gambit gives better practical chances.

I guess neither opening loses material right away, but you get into pretty terrible positions as black...
I mostlly specialize in the damiano Defense And the Macleod Attack, i can wreck people with it big time.

@Benjibass you rating is quite low, no offence but I wouldn't follow your advice when it comes to chess 
The reason why my rating went from 1200 to 1040 is because i play mostly when i first wake up, but later on in the day when i drink kombucha, home brewed, i wreck people.
