Is there a cheat where you can abort games mid game?
Sort:
I was just in the middle of playing a game and I was probably marginally winning but on my opponents move, the game aborted. Not only did I not come away with any points, but the game doesn’t even show up on my archive. Is there a cheat or more likely something went wrong with the server?

No. There was an announced server restart at 11pm PST.
I saw the announcement yesterday afternoon.
I was just in a game 10mins ago and I was in a winning position and the person just aborted mid game and the game doesn't even show on my listed archive
It's happened 3 times people aborting mid game how they doing that

As mentioned, there was a scheduled live server restart. When that happens, all ongoing games are aborted
I was playing today against “Smasher9009” user and after a series of blunders on his side and with a clear win for me was a matter of seconds(!), a very convenient “game abort” put an end to our game.
This happened around 5pm sydney time. If maintenance is scheduled, it should be announced before the game.
I have screenshots to provide to the admins of this platform to investigate, otherwise i must think that some users have found the way to force this.

As mentioned above server restart happened, when this happens games don't count if your winning or losing unfortunately.
