I've had a few games today where my opponent was playing normally but then blunders. From that point on they start making obvious losing moves. Not just bad moves, but allowing all of their pieces to get captured unchallanged. My assumption is that they are upset or embarrased about the bad move so they continue in an attempt to hide the mistake by making it seem like they intended to make the first blunder.
Is there a term for such behavior (besides childish?)
