Is There a name for this position?

The only thing I can think of is "tempo"?  Its the end game, and both players have moved there pawns such they cannot really move any longer with out being taken by the other players pawn, or locked in. So it comes down to the kings who will have the favorable last move that will cause the other king to move back losing the prize square, hoping not to be there first and force to move back.  In other words its counting mentally to make sure your king will have the right move that  forces you opponent to lose the initiative. Basically this is long range calculating in your head to gain that initiative. Hmm Guess this is why I love chess
