Is there a way to block players from certain countries, specifically the Netherlands?

Yeah, but why would anyone want to say they were from the Netherlands?

You're just going to have to live with your prejudices and move on.  There is no option to exclude players by country, nor will one ever be forthcoming.

if enough people complain they might fix it.

Even if chess.com dared to add something like this (which they won't, a feature like this is inherently discriminatory), I've seen threads on here for years along for simple and much more essential features that were never addressed (pls, give conditional moves on mobile app )

I wish there was a way to abort after 5 moves. Like if the position was equal or something.

Pretty sure the site won't add options to block by self reported or actual  location.

Don't think there's a way to, just play and have fun

No, they would never open themselves up to the bad publicity.

Aww come on, when money is involved they'd do whatever. It's easy enough to have a cover story.

For example market it as distributing servers around the globe and now users will have the convenience of exclusively playing people on the closest server... it's definitely not blocking people from other areas since anyone is free to play on any server (but in practice it'd be the same).

But of course not only will people not complain to the point this happens, the OP is also an obvious troll who doesn't believe their own words.
