Is there a way to play against "myself" ?

I have a family member who is incarcerated and we'd like to play a chess game together by exchanging notation via e-mail. Instead of having a physical board I'd like to be able to do it online and then be able to go back anytime to update it with the latest move and/or see what the board looks like. I can't seem to find a function on chess.com where I can start a game against "myself" that will remain active that I can save and come back to anytime like any other daily game I'm playing. Any ideas?

Analysis, perhaps.

I would save the notation in a document and update it as more moves are made. Downside is you’d have to re enter the moves on a board to look at it each time.

I thought about this, but figured it might become a pain in later stages of the game 😆

They have Diamond, so Analysis should work.

huh? chess.com explicitly says you are allowed to have a main account and a practice account...

but not many websites allow you to have 2 accounts open in 1 window or its very hard + if you lost your google account or need i new one for the account THATS INSANE
