Thank you
Man this thread is stupid. There's fortune and misfortune, so there's good luck and bad luck. Even the ancients understood that.

Maybe the ancients were a lot smarter than some of the people here.
Ah. You must be joking cuz you find a lot of time for this thread? You do you but to be consistent guess you'd have to leave OD and IR https://www.chess.com/clubs/home/optimissed
This entire rant by Diogenes is a mixture of out and out evasion, misrepresentation and assorted drivel. Anyone taking him seriously is definitely in trouble. He isn't worth discussing anything with.
This can be applied to your existence in general. Your bitter vendetta drives you to post like a little chihuahua any time anyone else disagrees with me...bravest when other dogs are around.

Fortune and misfortune are just human perceptions of luck, so that's a circular definition. It also assumes that if luck exists, it affects everything equally.
But I'm not talking about the layman's colloquial definition of luck, as mentioned many times. Even the ancients would understand that...
Fortune and luck is synonymous, never liked your way of communicating. Hey DiogenesDue. I also tried to invite you to my discussion club multiple times and you pretend not to notice. You enjoying OD? This all must stem from you being upset about something I can't recall.
There is luck in chess, but only if you get a lot better (or worse) player than you. The whole rest is only skill-based.
If I have to be honest, most of y'all that decline to join my club or pretend not to notice me reaching out, make about as much sense as this guy with the reasons as to why y'all can't join. But, ya join OD eh? Whatever.

You coexisted there with all sorts of people for very long, such as Elroch. So what's the problem? Whereas you left my club because of a difference of opinion on Russia invading Ukraine or something.

It might have been the way the difference of opinion was expressed. I don't take kindly to hostile reactions and if the club didn't seem to permit freedom of expression within reasonable limits, then yes, I would leave. I just tried to leave O.D. and found it to be impossible. The "Leave" button has been deactivated. Maybe that's why I'm still there?
I think it's kinda bugging. Chess.com has to fix that issue but it's not really an important one honestly.
I thought only crybaby kids begged for members of their clubs. I see there are also needy 'adults'.
That is the truth sadly.
Regarding your position at the weekend and if I only had a minute to spend on the position, I would want to play Ne4. It opens things up and blocks white's k-side attack. I couldn't see any way to profitably sacrifice a piece for black. However, chopping off white's knight outpost first looks possible but I don't believe in it. Surely, white recaptures with the f pawn and all the lines are opened for white's k-side attack. I don't know about the theoretical result of that but I think that in practice, with black's pieces concentrated on the Q-side and white having an unassailable centre, white would probably find a way to win it in practice. So I would play Ne4 and hope for the best. I think it's probably ok.
I only let the engine run a few seconds on Saturday. When it has more time, Ne4 also gives Black an advantage. But Bxe5, the move I played, remains the stronger move, at least according to Komodo. I might check Stockfish.
