I'm addressing Octo's postings and postings style.
LIke his attempts to bother members here by talking about violence at the chessboard.
I don't know what Octo's like in offline life.
And Octo's been wiser than O - in Octo not spam-splashing his personal life into the forum subject.

So yes. There is luck in chess.
But no need to keep beating it to death.
As often happens in forums - after some progress - then there's 'views' that have already been seen.
So far after years:
1) Very pathetic pretenses by one person that mentioning a term like 'cheating' could 'knock out' luck in chess.
2) Claims that 'luck is just a perception'. 
But that isn't the case because purpose - like luck - is real.
3) Rejection of luck as opposed to denial. People don't like luck in chess. 
Which isn't the same as pretending it doesn't exist.
So #3 better than the first two.
4) Acceptance of the reality of luck in chess.
And be Glad when you're on the up-side of it.

Reminds me of a funny line I heard decades ago about chess.

Its really odd why you want to be that hostile towards me. Feeling frustrated in an argument is one thing but this seems more than that.. Usually it would be a reaction towards a perceived threat.... Usually I dont worry, just sometimes I imagine how I would throw the chessboard into some extremely lucky opponents of mine if we played in real life

Luck doesn't exist because free will doesn't exist.

The outcome is already determined in the future, so if you lose, you shouldn't blame yourself or regret playing differently because that was impossible.

And if you win, don't get too full of yourself either, because it wasn't really your merit.
