3. Bb5 is a common move in that position. The idea is to put pressure on the central squares d4 and e5 and enable early castling so that white can defend e4 with Re1, retaining the possibility of playing c3 and d4 at some point. It's basically the same strategy that white adopts in the Ruy Lopez although its not as good for white as the Ruy.

I just played a game in which my oponent made some mistakes, so did I but do you think my play was accurate, or its just that the moves I've done were pretty easy to find?
This was a blitz game and I was playing particulary fast and had around 2 mins on the clock when opponent abandoned
