Is this a good opening?

  Here are two games, one I won and another I lost using an opening I like.  Chess.com says it is called the Bird's Opening.

Do you enjoy playing it? Then it is a good opening. The only purpose of an opening is to reach positions that you like to play.

There are stronger options to playing 1.f4,... though.

The Bird opening itself (1.f4) is a decent opening. Its just the follow-ups you play (2.g3 and 3.h4) that are not. Weakening your kingside like this in the opening is never a good idea.
