I had to go on my old account since for some reason my current one just won’t work anymore (which is bs) and so I decided to play a few games. I haven’t played in a little while but regardless. Is this really all it is? It’s just a difficult, not very rewarding game thats really not fun for the pain that I go through every single effing time I play this game. So I beg this question. Is this really all the “fun” to be had in chess?
No, OTB chess is very different and more rewarding. Play that instead

Personally for me. Playing online serves one purpose. Play daily and to learn and grow. Any other time control and I would rather watch paint dry. Nothing beats OTB tournament play.
