I'd prefer a draw in that position, but many people are averse to drawing for some reason, in which case anything goes.
No, that's what blitz chess is.
Along the same lines, as you get lower on time, say under 60 seconds, it's better to stop looking for good moves and go for complications (like an attack) or if you can maybe build a fortress. Either way, something that lets you use less time than your opponent.
Of course some people play the whole blitz game this way, and it's not ineffective either heh.
lol people get pissed off when it happens.

In blitz if both players are really low in time (10 seconds-) is it rude to go suicidal with your pieces just to drag your opponent out of premove and get them to lose on time?
