It IS possible to checkmate with two knights

#30. ==> "Two knights alone can only mate if the defender blunders" <==
I didn't mention a pawn neither did the OP or anyone else.
See Post #6. Which was one of the posts I read.

A checkmate with only two knights cannot be forced, because in order to get into mating position, it will actually be stalemate before you can deliver the mate. However, if the losing side has a king and an extra pawn that has moves, then it would not be stalemate and a two knight checkmate can actually be forced
Doesn't have to be just a pawn. This is also a forced win for White
of course, it is possible. You know what else is possible? If everyone on earth held their breath at the same time for five exact seconds. Doesn't mean it will happen.
I finish up with a forced KNNK mate quite regularly practising KNNKP against the Nalimov tablebase. It's a possible finish from a lot of positions. The last few moves could be e.g.

I know, but I meant you need at least a pawn or another piece for black. Only two knights vs one king will not force checkmate.
