What are the ideas behind the Italian Game?
I know that the basic ones are:
-Get your bishop to the a2-g8 diagonal
-Play c3 and then d4 to take center
-Develop rapidly
-Bring King's rook to e1
-Break open lines to get at the black position
But my question is: Do you know any other ideas [or tips] behind the Italian Game?
