I’ve amassed a long list of cowards who have avoided rematches, how about you?

I’m not trying to brag; it’s just dizzying the number of people who run screaming 😆

Zardorian
😆 Well played, well played.
blueemu

Seriously? Only yesterday another poster was telling me that he's amassed a long list of crybabies who can't lose a game without screaming for a rematch. I wonder if the two of you are on each other's lists?

Zardorian
You, too.
Zardorian
Wait, really? I promise you I haven’t been on this for a while. Who is it?
Zardorian
My trophy list is much higher quality than his or hers

As always, my sources are confidential. I will say this, however:

While this might be your first public pronouncement on people avoiding rematches, the topic does come up periodically... regularly enough that I wrote a poem to commemorate it:

"Whenever I'm losing, I must have rematches!"

The patzer repeatedly, heatedly cried.

He continued to lose even more games, in batches,

And rematched and rematched until he died.

Given your relentless rematch advocacy and your list,

you are hereby declared our resident coward collector, now that the resident pawn collector is gone.

i saw this banter a few more times recently. i try but can not fully understand the reasoning why some people think people should rematch? just because their opponent wants it so? its 'my' decision whether rematch or not. you can only request it. your thoughts about reasons of being rejected, are.. just.. your assumptions. and they are all about how you feel. lets say you lost and want another chance to win and feel better, but that wont change the fact you lost it and no one has to make you feel better.

This is no time or place for logic.  This is chess.com. please respect our ways.

Somebody has way too much time on his hands.

Zardorian
Good one, Blueemu!

Whenever I'm losing, I dare you to rematch!"

The fighter repeats with a confident grin.

For it’s not the sad spirit of a coward you should catch

No! A true warrior spirit is what gets you the win.

badenwurtca

Are we having fun yet  lol.

Fantasto

There are lots of reasons why someone might not accept a rematch invite. IMHO it's rather judgemental to call them all cowards.

Laskersnephew

The deluded OP thinks people run away from him screaming when they actually have no idea who he is. What a weird form of narcissistic delusion

It's not judgmental, it's stupid,
