After 2 and a half years of playing chess from 236 elo I've finally climbed all the way to 2000 rating! 2000 rating felt impossible for me when I first started but through consistent studying I have finally achieved my chess rating goal! I wanted to give a special thanks to @Bgabor91, specifically for his Patreon which offers so much instructional material for such great prices! Please check him out! If anyone reading has any tips for 2000+, please post below!

Thank you for reading!

Damn my peak rapid is about 2000+ and I did it pretty easy. What on earth have you been studying? 236 Elo to 2000 in 2 years is quite a climb.

Thank you for flexing the speed of your rating gain, I really needed that. I have been balancing chess and schoolwork for a while now. I study when I can, usually with game reviews, youtube, the chess.com games database, and @Bgabor91's patreon.

Congratulations @Sobrukai! 2.5 years to get to 2000 rapid is absolutely monstrous. I'm hoping to hit that by the end of the year.

Congratulations on 2000. To go from 1600 to 2000 in less than six months is nice progress.

Thank you! Since August I've really been putting the pedal to the metal when it comes to chess improvement.

By the looks of it your improvement is also going great; you'll hit 2k soon!

You need to have 100 games there to be around 2000. I was at 2180 and now 1900happy.png you need to play chess more fun and more to chess pleasure then rating. If I go for points and have tremour not to lose some ... It will be retairment for me..for sure
