I already answered the question posed by the person you're responding to. The ONLY alternative you need to look at is ICC. I am subbed to literally every single pay chess server online and ICC is, by far, the best.

I know there are some unscrupulous people who might use a computer to cheat but is it possible to cheat time too, so that you can play ten moves in a second? I've been playing some bullet games, and I feel that we're moving at the same pace, but when I finally look at the clock, I find myself 20 seconds behind. Now I'm paranoid about cheating even in bullet.

Well premoving is an option that allows you to make 10 moves in 1 second (0.1 seconds are taken off for each premove). If you'd like to be able to premove you just need to enable the option in your live chess settings.

Yes ,but nobody asked us to continue..I have lost interest in both team
matches and live std.15/10 that I play..My unsteady internet connection
makes it v.difficult.don't get time to think or make my moves ..just
a few minutes away lost a game in superior position to lower rated opponent as "conn.interrupted msg"by the time i logged in a second time

alot of ranting about nothing. example "time cheats". They dont exist. It is called lag. time gets added with slow connections, probably yours. all you people that posted obout players cheating, as if someone could alter the clock, really need to do a little research on the subject of lag. of course you can intentionally lag. but calling it cheating is innacurate. the faster the connection, the better for gaming. issues are with routers, not chess.com if you have a slow connection. "time-stamping" is employed so playerss aren't penalized. your opponent makes a move, his clock runs until you receive it, but u r lagging, his clock was running but gains time upon receipt by yourself. the move was made at the time shown. read previous post about pre-move.

At Kirkwood... bullet is more often about who has the fastest connection and dexterity skills. Years ago the highest rated player (ICC) at bullet bragged about his connection from the World Trade Center. That obviously became history like his rating.
