I think I’ve plateaued as well, even though I’ve only played for a year. I can’t motivate myself to start studying, so I’m not going to gain much elo anytime soon.
sometimes things cant progress. take a break, and before coming back do puzzles and study more.
I try to have at least one physical friend who plays chess, that way am motivated more. That's how i do mine.
I have played 2899 rapid games and ive been hard stuck, in December 2024 i peaked at 1190 elo and today im only 1320 but my rating is rapidly dropping it feels like no matter what study its not going back it
