Yes, let us take a moment to discuss the elephant in the room, shall we?

They're always pointing in the same direction, aren't they? - Surely you've noticed, and most likely you've been frustrated as well. You've suffered like I have. There is but little sense in this, as Knights are known to be tricky and unpredictable by any means. Please let us j'adoube.

I wanted to set up my other pieces in an awkward manner as well; just a wee bit off center. This strategy has won me more than one victory in OTB games, confusing and astounding my opponents as the games proceeded. So I implore you yet again: Please let us j'adoube.

I wanted to play a nice game of off center brilliancy, so I typed "hello, j'adoube" into the chat window, and much to my dismay the pieces seemed to snap back to their original position immediately upon release of the mouse button. It wasn't an interesting game after that.

Please, I must implore you; let us j'adoube.

PS: Let's imagine a player, whom is engaged in a correspondence game, entering the analysis mode board. Couldn't this be construed as illegal from the moment, he touches his opponents' pieces? Or do you have to actually catch someone in the act of doing so in order to have the game adjourned?
