Does this mean and fishermen make bad politicians b/c they are notorious liers?
Jesse Ventura and Chess
As opposed to chess if you lie in politics you should succeed in it. Give unrealizable promises, lie to people and you'll be elected. When people realize they elected a liar it will be too late, and they will elect another liar on the next election.

You are correct! Proof of this is the current US president. This is why Jesse Ventura is not likely to be elected president.
Any country where running for president takes obscene amounts of money, the citizens should be very critical of the democratic value of such elections...
I always liked Jesse Ventura, seemed he was more honest than most politicians.

What did you smoke?
Why are chess players interested in politics? Because chess is an honest game! If you lie to yourself about the position on the chess board you will lose the game. The basis of good chess is an honest assessment of the position based on your best judgement. And the basis of honesty is being honest with yourself. If you lie to yourself, you will also lie to others. Thus being basically honest people, chess players are the first to see through the lies of politicians. I don't know if Jesse Ventura plays chess but he must be a very honest man who is both honest to himself and to others since he can honestly analyze the chess game of international politics. Thats why I recommend his online TV show "Off The Grid" at:
