Good luck Kristoff.
Join the biggest challenge ever (9999 games at the same time)

Honestly, I do not think that is possible...
But I think that will be a very great "Chess.com record"! and I hope you succeed...
One suggestion: You should try to contact admins of big teams/groups and ask them to help you promote this idea to their groups' members...

Considering you would need 5 minutes to look at the board and decide on a move, you would need 34 days of chessplaying non-stop... no eating, no sleeping to make 1 move in 9999 games. In other words, can't be done.
you can't because the site won't allow you to do that especially you are not a full member...you are limited to 150 games at the same time till you subscribe :)

Are you sure of that? I swear I've seen people here, who were basic members as long as they were in the scope of my attention (when I was playing with them, and those games stretched out for months, and many of them timed-out before a mate was achieved) having easily 500+ simultaneous games on the line ...
I wonder how OP will look like after his challenge is completed! :)

Why would he spend 5 minutes? To make a more or less reasonable move 5 seconds could do for example. That's "only" about 14 hours to make 1*9999 moves, which would be 1 hour per day in this case.
maybe their subscribtion ended :) I was playing with an other account befor creating this one and I was limited to 150 or 160 games so I am talking with my own experiance :) ... maybe it will work for you but I am sure 9999 it's impossible !

I'm sure at a 2000 rating that might be the case, his rating is however 1500. I find it hard to believe a player my level would have enough with 5 seconds per move and not make blunder after blunder.

Yeah, I agree it would become a blunderfest. It certainly would if I had only 5 seconds per move.
And of course exhaustion and boredom might be lethal. I guess it would be possible to start 9999 games, and play a couple of moves, but to actually finish that many games without premature endings wont be easy...

I take my time for each game.
For opening moves only 5 sec (i play always the same opening)
middle game about 20 seconds
end game 5-10 seconds

Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to be an *** about this, but you might have more fun in 150 completed games then you would with 9999 abandoned games. And 150 games from start to finish would still be an amazing accomplisment especially if you win more than half of them. If that succeeds you can still take on a bigger challenge. Athletes train too :)
