Joining the USCF with no formal ID

I do not have any formal identification.  No driver's license, passport, or state-issued ID of any kind. 

I would like to join the USCF and start playing in tournaments but I was wondering if that would be possible with no ID.

Does anyone know?  Thanks.

Maybe just call up the USCF in Tennessee and ask them?

All I have is my old college ID, that I still use to get student discounts at the movie theatre.

I also have a Starbucks gift card with over $5,000 on it.

Maybe the USCF will trade you a membership card for your Starbucks card.

Why don't you get some kind of formal ID then?

Because I don't want one.  Why should I get a formal ID?

I have an older guy drive me around in my car(s).  I actually am licensed to drive, I just lost the card itself some time ago.

Yes, that is true.  Eight years.

They've never asked me for ID.  I just filled in the blanks and gave them my credit card number.

Well, I don't have any credit cards either.

Come to think of it, nobody ever asked for my ID, either.  I paid cash at the tourney.

                You can register on line. The USCF does't care WHO you are, they just want your money.   Jesus Johnny, you have a $5000. Starbucks card??  I hope its decaf.

There is nothing "loser" about wanting to steer clear of the "man".  What do I need an ID for?
