That happened over the course of less than 8 months and it's almost exclusively from spamming 30-minute rapids. Also I never really studied theory, only thing besides playing and looking up the analysis of my games I've done is religiously watch every Agadmator video (as well as recently Hikaru's, started with his KID guide). My lowest point in the beginning was just below 700. Also yesterday I hit 1000 in blitz (always picking 5-minute format) after a total of 523 games. How far do you think I can go? Now I kind of regret having started playing so late lmao, I'm 20. Or rather, restarted, I only briefly played chess like... 9-10 years ago? I had mostly just learnt the rules, that's all.
Also I just uploaded my last 15 rapid games (except the most recent one) to lichess and ran them with the computer analysis, then in excel - so basically over those 12 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw (which was a disconnect so it would have been 12-3), I had an average of:
44 centipawns lost per move (minimum being 18, max being 67)
85.6 avg accuracy,
4.(6) inaccuracies per game,
1.9 mistakes per game,
1.(3) blunders per game.
My opponents (with an average of 1337-ish rating, including 2 1500s) averaged:
59.4(6) centipawns lost per move,
80.1 avg accuracy
5.0(6) inaccuracies per game,
1.5(3) mistakes per game,
2.2 blunders per game.
Is it realistic to hope to reach 1800+ in under 1k rapid games considering my progression curve so far?
