Just tried to reset my tactics rating, how do I get it to not start me at 400?

i had a prior tactics rating of 2200

i used to be able to reset to 1600, but now it starts me off at 400 and advances extremely slowly.

how can I change this?

I was at 2156 when i restarted mine.  It went to 400.  It doesnt matter where it starts at, its where it ends up at.

So do I just have to grind through 1800 rating points 8 points at a time?

I started at 800.. The tactics problems I get are too easy. It’d be nice to be able to change that.

ok, never mind guys, I ground through and am now sitting at a nice rating of 2300+

a cmon , i did the same ,its a good exercise to do basic stuff once in a while ,its not about the rating            also you can do this unrated , if you want , and choose a rating pool by yourself

But 400 is way too low as a rating to restart on.

I agree, it was useful to step back and work on my mate in 1s (not)

if they are so easy, then do them! you will be at your proper rating in no time!
