Just Watched Some GothamChess...

I don't think coaches are necessary... and a good coach mostly gives you homework anyway. It's not as if they're giving you secret advice. If you know how to learn then you can teach yourself... coaches are probably most useful for kids because they wouldn't know how to structure their learning.

But for example, books like Axel Smith's "Pump up Your Rating" give some good training (and practical playing) advice.

There are good chess videos on Youtube and even Gotham has a few. With Gotham however we must remember he is going for monetisation and that means the daft thumbnails, the hyperactive personality and oversimplifying.

Why do you bother responding to this guy? Let him spam on his own
The more I'm looking at @Chessnetwork's profile the more impressed I am. He is #76 on the global leaderboard for bullet, and after a brief look I couldn't find anyone else 40+ years old who is higher rated than Jerry. Closest I came was GM Vallejo Pons, a 39 year old super GM who is rated about the same as him in bullet.
Jerry might be the strongest 40+ year old bullet player on the planet, stronger than every other GM, IM, and FM. To do that without a FIDE title just blows my mind.
Wow
