Hasn't happened yet: it's on May 24th, 10 AM PDT i.e. Pacific Daylight Time, which is UTC -7.

So, as I type this, it's only midnight over there and the event doesn't actually start for another 5 hours.

Karjakin.

Is there a link to the event?

It's in the Twitch archive. I just watched the last two minutes to find out who won:

I'll save you from looking - Karjakin

I just found it myself. Karjakin won 19-7. He gave up two losses at the end to make the score a bit more respectable for Meier.

I hope Chess.com gets rid of that one 960 game. At some point, that ridiculous game will determine the winner of a match that matters.

What's wrong with 960?

 What's right with it?

@CM Coleman-- thanks for posting the twitch archive-- I didn't know where to find those.

@Damonevic-- I agree-- often quite difficult to find match results on chess.com--perhaps there's a way to put up a  brief result, with no article, and say something like--"more to come later"
