Remember when Kamsky kept getting into time trouble against Topalov? Well, Garry Kasparov just took game one as black from Anatoly Karpov as the latter quickly got into time trouble in a game of only 25 minutes each. 10 of Kasparov's 23 moves were knight moves in an exciting battle which definitely left the viewer wanting for more. Some will call it a letdown and a disappointment but just having two of the greatest ever together is enough for most. Kasparov seemed right back at home with the King's Indian, while Karpov was obviously indecisive, having recently dropped from 98 to 140 in the world. Stay tuned as game 2 is today as well.
