Hello everybody!

What are the advantages and disadvantages of attacking on the king side or the queen side in the middlegame?
There are a lot of chess opening, with different reasons, but every opening have a pawn structure, which defines where should you attack, on the queen side, or on the king side. But which is better and why? Does it make any sense to play only openings where you can attack on the king side/queen side? (what you are choose) So does it make any sense to have a "queen side attacker opening repertoire" or a "king side attacker opening repertoire"?

Well, a lot of these attacks are facilitated by pawn advances, so attacking on the kingside means that you're probably opening up your own king. So there's a higher risk/reward.

If your bishops and/or pawns are pointing towards the queenside that's generally where you play, the same with the kingside.
