Knight isn't moving

Hello everybody;
Im new to chess ... I saw some videos for the basics and all, by downloading an app on my phone seems i can't move the knight while i can with other pieces, i dont know why ... The white knight (mine) is placed in the bottom right of Black King, my knight can move and eat a pawn and It may give me a good move, is it normal to not move it or the app do its best to win ?
