Knight on d5. Now what?

The recent chess video about the English Opening stressed the importance of the d5 square.  So, In this game, I have sac'd a knight so that I now have a good hold on d5,(or at least I think I do) but now I am not sure how to proceed.  I am new to chess, so any thoughts or suggestions (both about the current position or regarding mistakes I made leading up to this position) would be really appreciated.

note:  I was not sure where to post this because the game anaylisis thread stated that it was for finished games and this game is still in progress.

During last 7 or 8 games I have played against the Chess.com cpu, the AI has chosen to take it's king for a walk in every game rather than castle.  Not sure why, the difficulty setting is on medium.

Thank you for the suggetion.

Yes it was doing the same against me (although I stopped playing it a week or so ago). I noticed it played OK in the first game but then seemed to get bored and started with the king moving thing or sacking a piece for wholly inadequate compensation.

By the way Lou you did not sacrifice in the game above - when the computer took your knight and you took its knight back that is an exchange.  In a sacrifice you give up material.

Shame nobody told him e4 wins a piece.

8.Bg5 looks like the right move to me. In this pawn structure Black's knight knight needs to be on e7 instead of f6 to prevent this pin. After Bg5 your knight on c3 and bishop on g2 will own d5. The king on e7 just makes things worse.

If not for that then breaking open the center with f4 or something seems like a better idea because the king is stuck in the center.

How is everyone missing these?

You can't ask for advice against Computer - Medium while the game is in progress.  It's considered cheating.  So even if the thread had not been necro'ed from the dead, it should not be responded to ;).
