I sent Komodo25 a challenge request, but they never responded. Is there a reason for that? If so, what is it? I need to know.

You can't challenge the accounts. If you want to play Komodo 25 you can do that by selecting the engine at the bottom of the bots page and putting the slider all the way to the right.

Okay

Then why do they have accounts?

I found this on chess.com but if you can't challenge its account then why do they have accounts?

Yeah I know that. I've played with the bot a lot like that. But I'm still wondering why they have accounts.

I didn't know that you could only play with the computer bot and not its account. I also don't know why the bots have accounts.

It used to be possible to challenge some of the bots in Play a few years ago and when members save their bot games they have to be attached to an account and so that's required.

Okay... But I don't think that answers my question. What do you mean? I'm still wondering why they have accounts.

I also have others who don't respond to my challenges. I haven't tried to challenge one of the bots by their account, but I played with the bot in the "vs computer" section.

I'm order to save bot games there has to be an account to attach the game to in addition to the member. There may be some other underlying design reasons for an account as well.

They're only available in the vs Computer section.

Maybe chess.com controls the computer bots' accounts.

The computer bots are available in the "Vs Computer" section, and I know that. But not the coaches. I also can't play with the premium bots.
