The opening, you mentioned, is both 'viable' ..{ie. hasn't yet been shown to be a 'forced loss', with 'best play' for both sides}.. Plus, a 'player' as 'white' can play an 'open' or 'closed' games.. {or even, a 'delayed' Open game}.. Depending on, whether 'white' develops the 'queen- pawn' to, 'd3' or 'd4'.
Kopec System Viability???
Yes, it is viable. Example game:

I play it always as white. Have very good luck with it (as a club player). I think if you play it (as a club player) it can take the black player out of his comfort zone if he's studied up on all the different Sicilian defenses. At the very best, it can screw up black's memorized opening and force him to play with his own skill.
I was looking for a anti-sicilian and I found the kopec system for white. I'm wondering if its viable and if you guys have any game examples. Anyways, thanks.
