Lag - Serious Question.

Everyone. I’m just wondering if anyone else has noticed a serious increase in lag issues during bullet chess? Now I’m not an expert and I am basically a beginner, but I’ve never seen things this bad before. What I’m talking about is that many of my games are lost on time and it seems as though my play time is expiring quicker than my opponents. I’m definitely losing a lot more games lately. So I paid direct attention to how my clock was running down per move. I noticed several moves in a row where a move was made in less than a second, even premoves but the clock would show a loss of four, five, even six seconds! Can anyone explain what’s going on? I’ve been on chess.com for many years and it has never been this bad.

Hey thanks! I’ll check this out and see if it helps. Like I said, it’s never been this bad before. Probably more on my end. But I’ve wondered how other players here have dealt with lag issues, if at all. For the record, none of these issues on Lichess at all.

Same her, and I've tried different locations. (eg. work) Losing a lot of games on vanished time, my bullet rating is going downhill. It was not like this before. I've a superdatamaskin and a glassfiber internet connection. Maybe I'll try Lichess.

They just announced that they will be geo-distributing game play servers.
