Learning chess from Jerrry?

First, I must admit that I started watching Jerry's The Chess Network videos for their sheer entertainment value.  I could watch them for hours on end, as I find his way of narrating videos very enjoyable. However, I have seen several high rated chess players on this site comment that you can actually learn chess from watching Jerry's videos, but no one has specified exactly how to glean usefull chess information from them. So other than avoiding the "comcast gambit" and "kitchen sink variation" I was hoping some of you could tell me just how to actually learn things while watching these extremely entertaining Chess Network Videos. Thanks in advance, H.G.

Thanks for the suggestion Killer, but the great thing about Jerry's videos is that they never get boring, I could watch them over and over again, so if I can learn something on top of just being entertained that would be GREAT!

I think paying little or no attention to detractors is a good idea. For example those who may say "You're too old to get to a particular level.", or similiarly related mentalities.

Cool Remember to enjoy yourself along the way. :)

From Jerry i have learned how to diferentiate good bishop vs bad bishop,  good knight vs bad bishop, positional imbalances, pawn structure, calculation,  trickiness and lots of other stuff but most of all to have fun playing chess.  I think only you can answer how you can learn more from his videos.
