I've only been playing a few weeks and already am hooked. After completing a number of games with my nephew (which I won) I thought I will get the computer to analyse one of the games, ahead of stiffer tests to come when finding the best move really will be crucial! The analysis was devastating in the number of mistakes and blunders found on either side. Fortunately for me, I made less than he did, but made me realise I have an long way to go before coming anywhere near being the next Kasparov. Interestingly, I was just prior to that looking at a video where Kasparov was interviewed, and he made exactly the same observation about mistakes. He made the point that while he tended to be successful, it was only because the opponent made that last all-important mistake, and if the opponent were to analyse where he went wrong the tables would turn should there be a rematch.
