how do i for see or stop and knight fork advance -- every time its deployed i lose a rook or a bishop all before the seven move ---  should i go after when i see they move their knights those knight or should i wait ??? what should i do ??

For a start, we focus on the starting position. Familiarise yourself with the standard c7/c2 square for knight forks. What will the previous square be for the knight to get to, say, c7? Most of the time it's from b5 or d5.

In this case, you have to anticipate that if a knight travels to that square, it can sometimes mean an incoming fork. Do you have enough pieces to defend the c7 square? Or can you launch a counter-attack elsewhere on the board?
