Dude, chess is meant to be fun. True, some people make a living off of it, however that doesn't change the fact that 90% of chess players play for fun.
Masters were amateurs once...
But what Nerdclubsci said about fun.

One of the reasons i'm going full pro mode. Started serious this summer from bullet patzer i am growing fast to chess expert - somewhere in next few months. I spent too many hours a day everyday at chess anyway. So why not at least crush those amateurs who thinks they are playing for fun, but whn they face me, after the game they run away so fast,..I want to know what i am doing. I no longer want to ask myself after sever first moves what the hell is this. I will quicky take initiative from a player who move fast and he is not sure what he is doing. The feeling of improving and beating players who just few monts ago will crush me is wonderfull. Hopefully in next few years there will be CM or FM next to my name.
I was curious what kind of discussion would erupt. OP is now a fly-on-the-wall in this thread.

I think I'm going to just leave chess to be played by titled players from now on. Amateurs like myself clearly don't know what they're doing. We play to the situation as opposed to going deep into opening theory. Masters already know their opening theories and play it out accordingly. So clearly masters should be the only ones playing chess and telling people the "proper" way to play chess...
