Leaving Chess.com for Good

I learned how to play chess around over 12 years ago. 4 years after that, I started taking the game more seriously and I started an account on chess.com. I've played on and off, but every time I get back into this game, it makes me addicted. Honestly, the reason why I play nowadays is for the work ethic and applying it to other skills. I will probably never be a professional player, but I'm satisfied with all the results I've achieved. I'm going to move on to other things that will have a more profound impact on my life financially. I will probably not follow chess anymore aside from the major tournaments because otherwise I would get sucked back in. As a conclusion, I would like to post my first game I've ever played (I remember losing all the games, but it turns out I arbitrarily won.) In addition, I've posted two of some of my recent games, which are understandably higher in quality. Hopefully these games can be instructive. And with that, I bid you farewell, chess.com.

In that case, good luck to you.

Despite not knowing you, I am sad to see a valued member of this platform leave. I wish you good luck in any future endeavours you have. Farewell.

I've got a feeling the OP is not going to be gone for long. He'll be back.

However, if they've played for 12 years and only gotten to 1400, maybe they do need to quit...
