Even with the best support, how would an inactive player make 2200?
Leaving my federation
My chess understanding has almost reached FM level, so with the right peer-group and tournament schedule, i will get at 2200 in about a year, then i will go on with a training plan for becoming a strong IM.
Why would foreign chess federations give you any (more) support than your greek one? I doubt they will.
Join a decent Chessclub and play there against strong players.
Except if you are a 12 year old child prodigy going for a 2300 rating, no chess federation in the world is going to care about you (as in help you to improve) as a member.
As you could guess i am not wishing to become a chess professional, but rather a strong amateur who could give international tournaments a try occationally. Besides, i may as well move to France so that i can study sociology or something, then you got the point.

There is still no point.
There is no reason to give "support" to amateur players.
I am an inactive greek chessplayer, planning to move either to the french or to the russian federation, so that i can get better support on my way to 2200, for establishing a sound chess education...
Of course with the possible exception of Armenia and maybe India, nowadays it's everywhere heartbreaking for chessplayers, isn't that so?
